Wassail (my favorite)

This has always been a favorite of mine. We always had wassail on Christmas Eve, so it is a tradition. We also enjoy cheeseballs and Chex Mix on Christmas Eve, so when drinking Wassail I seem to have a craving for something salty! I love this particular recipe. It is very easy to make. Sometimes I will double the recipe and freeze some for later.

1 quart water
sprinkle of allspice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon (or 2 sticks)
1 tsp. salt
6 oz. frozen orange juice concentrate
6 oz. frozen lemonade concentrate (or the juice of 5 lemons)
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. ginger
10 cloves
2 quarts Apple cider

Bring sugar and water to a boil with spices. Add juices and heat until warm. Serve!!!
