Place the following ingredients in 2 quart baking dish that has a tight fitting lid.
1 cup rice uncooked
1 cup canned whole kernel corn, drained
Sprinkle with salt and pepper
Pour 1—8 oz. can tomato sauce and ½ can water over the first 2 layers
½ cup finely chopped onion
½ cup finely chopped green pepper
¾ lb. Uncooked lean ground beef
Pour another 8 oz. can tomato sauce and ¼ cup water over all.
Cover this with 4 strips bacon, cut in half.
Cover dish and bake @ 350 for 1 hour. Uncover and bake 30 minutes longer.
