I remember making this as a kid. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it on warm (homemade) bread. It is super simple to whip up and makes a great gift. Another variety is substituting raspberry or strawberry jam for the honey - that is delicious on rolls! I had to make some today to top our breads!
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. honey
1/4 tsp. vanilla
Whip room temperature butter, until fluffy. Add honey and vanilla, combine well. Keep refrigerated.
