Cornbread

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. flour
1 c. cornmeal
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk

In food processor, cream shortening and sugar 3 or 4 minutes. Add eggs, flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt. Add milk slowly. Put into greased 9 X 13-inch pan. Bake at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes.
