Chicken Tortilla Bake

1/2 lb. tortilla chips
2 chicken breasts, cooked
2 garlic, minced
2 T. oil
3 oz. canned jalapenos, sliced
1/2 lb. grated cheese (jack)
1/2 onion, chopped
2 c. milk (1/2 evaporated milk)
1/2 red pepper, diced

Cook chicken, shred. Saute onions and garlic in oil. Add milk and bring to boil. Add salt and pepper and any spices. Add chicken. Set aside. In 9X13-inch pan, layer some chips, cover with 1/2 chicken and sauce. Sprinkle 1/2 cheese. Repeat. Put jalapeno and pepper on top. Bake 350 for 25-30 minutes.
