Cheese Potato Soup

4 med. Potatoes, diced
1 qt. water
3 chicken bouillon cubes
1/4 c. butter or margarine
3 T. flour
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. shredded cheese
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/8 tsp. ground pepper

Combine potatoes, chicken bouillon cubes and water in heavy saucepan. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer until tender, about 20 minutes. In microwave, melt butter and add flour and milk then heat 1 minute. Stir until well thickened. Stir mixture slowly into potatoes and cook and stir until thick. Add seasonings and cheese.
