Tear 4 slices of soft bread into bite-sized chunks and soak in ½ c. milk and 2 eggs (mixed together), for 10 minutes.
Add: 1 lb. ground beef
1 t. salt
½ t. pepper
2 t. onion salt
½ t. baking powder
Make 24 meatballs, brown, put in shallow baking dish.
Mix 1 can cream of chicken, 1 can cream or mushroom and 1 soup can of milk. Pour over meatballs. Bake at 325° for 1 hour.
I like to make this in my electric skillet. Form the meatballs and brown over medium heat. Mix the soups and milk together and pour over the meatballs. Let it simmer, covered, until bubbly.
