Lemon Bread

1 c. butter
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
2 1/2 c. flour
4 TBS. lemon rind
1 c. nuts

Glaze:
juice of 2 lemons
1/4 c. butter
powdered sugar

Mix in order given. Pour in greased loaf pans. 3 medium pans bake for 50 minutes at 325, or 2 big pans bake for 1 hour at 325. While still warm poke top with a fork and spread on glaze.
