Chinese Sundaes Or Hawaiian Haystacks

Chicken Sauce
¾ c. butter
1-2 t. salt
3 c. well-seasoned chicken stock
2 c. half & half
¾ c. flour
¼ t. pepper
3 c. cubed cooked chicken

Melt butter, add flour, salt and pepper. Cook on low, stirring until smooth. Add chicken stock and half & half. Stir until well blended. Add chicken and stir until thickened. Serve over hot rice with these toppings:

chopped green onions
chopped celery
pineapple tidbits
grated cheese
toasted almonds
chopped green peppers
chopped tomatoes
chow mein noodles
chopped macadamia nuts
