Cheese-Garlic Bread Sticks

Dissolve: 1 T. yeast
1 1/2 cups warm water
2 T. sugar
Add: 1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 cups flour

Mix well and knead for 3 minutes. Let rise for 10 minutes. Roll out and cut into 12 strips. Melt 3/4 cup margarine and spread over cookie sheet with sides. Flip each breadstick so it is covered with the melted butter. Arrange the strips on the cookie sheet.
Sprinkle with garlic salt or garlic powder, and a generous amount of Parmesan cheese.
Raise 30 minutes. Bake @ 375 for 20 minutes or until golden.
