1 c. margarine, softened
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
Mix sugar, margarine, egg, vanilla, and almond extract. Mix in dry ingredients. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours. Roll out, cut shapes. Bake at 375 for 7 to 8 minutes.
Frosting:
3 c. powdered sugar
2 T. milk
1/2 c. margarine
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
