Tempura Vegetables

Beat together until smooth 1 egg, 1 t. soy sauce, ½ 1/2 t. salt, 1 t. sugar, ¾ 3/4 c. flour, ½ 1/2 c. water.
Dip vegetable pieces in tempura batter. Vegetables can include: zucchini, broccoli, onion rings, carrots, etc.
Cook in hot oil at 375° until brown.
Drain and serve.
