Barbecued Meatballs

1 egg, lightly beaten
1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 c. quick-cooking oats
½ c. finely chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chile powder
¼ tsp. pepper
1 ½ lbs. ground beef

In a bowl, combine all ingredients except beef. After ingredients are mixed well, crumble beef over mixture and mix again. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place in a greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake uncovered at 350 for about 20 minutes. Remove from oven. If there is any grease after cooking, drain it off.

1 cup ketchup
¾ cup packed brown sugar
¼ tsp. garlic powder

Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes, stirring frequently. Pour over meatballs. Bake in oven at 350 for another 12 minutes.
